Onboarding tips
Travellers decide in seconds. Onboarding is where you give them reasons to trust you.
Step 1 — Branding
- Logo is required. Use a square PNG or JPG, 512×512 or larger. Crop tight; whitespace looks lazy.
- Cover photo is optional. If you skip, your profile shows a clean teal/gold gradient — that is fine. Only upload a cover if it is actually a high-quality wide image of Makkah, Madinah, your office, or a group photo with permission.
- Specialisation is what travellers filter by. Pick the one you actually do best.
Step 2 — About
- Description must be at least 100 characters. Aim for 200–400. Cover: how long you have been operating, how many groups you take per year, what makes your service different. Avoid marketing fluff. Travellers can smell it.
- Founded year gives weight. If you started in 2018, that is six years of Hajj seasons — say so.
Step 3 — Verification
- Hajj license number is required if your specialisation is Hajj. Travellers will look for this. If you do not have one, do not pick Hajj.
- IATA is optional. Toggle on only if you actually hold the certificate.
- Office address is good for trust. Add it.
Step 4 — Contact
- WhatsApp number is the single most important field on the entire profile. This is where every lead lands. Use a number you actually monitor.
- Languages spoken improves match relevance. Add at least English and your local language(s).
- Website auto-prefixes with
https://. Leave the field blank if you do not have a site — better than a broken link. - Instagram shows as a social pill on your profile. Skip if your IG is not professional.
When you click Complete, you land on your dashboard. Your profile is live.
