Email notifications
Every enquiry submitted through the form generates an email to your business email — the one you registered with.
When it fires
- Immediately on enquiry insert.
- Sent through Resend (our transactional email provider).
- Subject line:
New enquiry from {traveller name} — {package title}. - Body: traveller details, message, reply links (WhatsApp, email).
Where it goes
Your business email address — the one you used to register on TourDock. This field is read-only on Settings → Identity because it is also your login. Changing it would require migrating your auth account.
If you need to forward enquiries to a different email (e.g. a shared inbox), set up forwarding in your mail client. Gmail and Outlook both support it.
Domain verification
Until our outbound domain (tourdock.ai) is verified with Resend, email notifications may go to spam or be rate-limited. We are completing verification before launch. Push notifications work today.
What to do if email is missing
- Check spam / junk folder.
- Whitelist
notifications@tourdock.aiin your mail client. - Verify the email on Settings → Identity is the one you actually monitor.
- Push is the more reliable channel — set it up via the dashboard banner.
The 60-minute goal
Email is for cases where you are not at the dashboard. If you reply from your phone within 60 minutes of receiving the email, the enquiry counts toward your fast-response stat. We measure response time from the enquiry insert, not from when email landed.
