Can I edit after publish?

Yes. There is no edit lock. You can change every field on a published package at any time.

What changes immediately

  • Title, description, itinerary, hotel details, inclusions, exclusions.
  • Pricing (all four tiers).
  • Hero image and gallery.
  • Status (Active / Paused / Draft).
  • Departure dates.

A traveller loading the page after your save sees the new content. CDN caches refresh within ~60 seconds.

What affects shared links

Changing the slug changes the public URL. Anyone who clicked the old link gets a 404. The system does not auto-redirect. Two cases:

  • Pre-launch: changing the slug is fine. Few links exist.
  • Post-launch: avoid slug changes. If you must rename for SEO, set up a redirect — email hello@tourdock.ai with the old slug → new slug pair, we add it to the redirect table.

What does not retroactively affect existing enquiries

  • Updating the price does not re-quote past enquirers. Reach out manually if needed.
  • Changing dates does not cancel an enquiry. Reach out manually if you change departure dates after a quote.
  • Changing inclusions/exclusions does not invalidate prior quotes. The quote you sent stands until you renegotiate.

Pausing vs. archiving

  • Pause (status: Paused) — package hides from the public, but stays editable. Existing share links 404. Use this for sold-out departures.
  • Draft — never published or pulled back to draft. Same public effect as Paused.
  • Archive — permanent removal from the dashboard list. The row stays in the DB for analytics, but does not appear in your Packages tab. Use this rarely; a paused package is usually what you want.

Versioning

We do not version edits. There is no "view previous version" feature. If you need a paper trail (e.g. for a contracted group), download the PDF brochure before editing — the PDF is a snapshot.
