The AI package wizard

The wizard turns plain-English package descriptions into structured listings. It uses Claude (via OpenRouter) — same model that powers the rest of TourDock's AI.

Screen 1 — Describe

A text box. Type or dictate. Voice mic icon supports Chrome and Safari only — Firefox does not expose the Web Speech API consistently.

What to include:

City order (departure city → Makkah → Madinah → return).
Number of nights per city.
Hotel name + distance from Haram or Masjid an Nabawi.
Pricing per tier (adult with bed, child with bed, child without bed, infant).
Inclusions and exclusions.
Group leader / Mufti / language of the trip.

The model tolerates messy input. "10n Umrah Karachi nov 15 2026 Movenpick mecca 4n Anwar Madinah 6n adult 2800 child 2200" produces a valid extraction.

Screen 2 — Review

The wizard fills in:

Title — auto-generated, e.g. "10-Night Umrah from Karachi · November 2026".
Dates — start + end.
Hotels — one block per city with stars and distance.
Pricing tiers — four numbers. Currency defaults to USD.
Sites included — Haram, Masjid an Nabawi, Quba, etc.
Inclusions / exclusions — bullet lists.
Slug — auto from title.

Edit anything wrong. Leave the slug alone unless you have a strong reason — changing it later breaks shared links.

Screen 3 — Descriptions

The wizard writes an English description. Two buttons:

Refine — pass a short instruction ("shorter", "more spiritual", "mention the Mufti by name"). The model rewrites.
Regenerate — start over with a fresh prompt. Asks confirmation — your refinements are lost.

Arabic and Urdu tabs are present but disabled in MVP1.

Screen 4 — Publish

Set status:

Active — live on your public profile and in search results.
Draft — saved but hidden. Use this if you are not ready.

Click Publish package. You land on the package edit screen. The package is live (if Active).

When the wizard fails

If the AI returns "extraction failed", the prompt was too short or too vague. Add at least one hotel name and one price tier. Retry.
