Notes and follow-ups
Each enquiry card has an inline notes textarea. Type, click outside the field (blur), the note saves. There is no save button on purpose — it is meant to be friction-free.
What to put in notes
- Quote details. "Quoted $2,800 adult, $2,200 child via WhatsApp 2026-08-02."
- Follow-up date. "Re-ping by 2026-08-10 if no reply."
- Personal context. "Mother-in-law travelling, dietary: no spicy food, prefers ground floor."
- Why they did not book. "Went with competitor X because we did not include flights."
Use plain text — no markdown
Notes render as plain text on the card. You can paste links and they will be clickable, but headings and bold do not render.
Search
We do not yet search inside notes. If you need to find an enquiry by note content, use Cmd/Ctrl-F on the Enquiries page (the page renders all open notes).
Keeping notes for closed deals
Notes survive when the enquiry status changes to Closed (Lost) or Booked. Useful for retro analysis — "Why did we lose three Madinah-only enquiries last quarter?"
Privacy
Notes are visible only to your operator account. They are not shared with the traveller. They are not exported in any public artifact (PDF, banner, social share). They are encrypted at rest like the rest of your data.
